James Ruben – Land Tax
James Ruben is the current vice president of POANSW and has over two decades experience in the property industry. Currently a director at m3property, a national property valuation and advisory firm. James has worked extensively in both the private and public sector, providing valuation and property consulting advice. He is a certified practising valuer and is licensed to provide valuations all over Australia.
John Gilmovich – Residential Tenancy
With over three decades of property industry experience John is the current president of POANSW, a property investing expert with particular expertise in the purchase and management of residential property. He is a full licensed agent, accredited property manager and auctioneer, is the managing director of Real Property Manager a multi award winning Sydney based property agency that sources and manages residential and commercial property.

Mikaela commenced her insurance career with Marsh, the largest global brokerage, where she worked in their niche Entertainment & Leisure team. More aligned with the small brokerage model and the level of service they provide, she joined PSC a year ago, quickly moving into the Eastern Prudential team where she now specialises in Boarding House and Accommodation insurances.
Toby Walton
Toby is a passionate insurance professional who specialises in business development. Having spent 8 years in the industry across markets in the UK and Australia, he has developed a deep understanding of the insurance landscape, enabling him to navigate complex policies and identify tailored coverage options

Since 1951,The Property Owners Association of NSW (POANSW) a non-government enterprise that has been representing private property owners who own small to medium sized property portfolios or are providing residential accommodation or commercial leases to the NSW market. This includes boarding houses, hostels, private hotels and commercial spaces. The POANSW committee of management past and present has been predominantly made up of volunteer property investors and property services professionals who have lobbied on a local, state and federal level.
This meeting is strictly limited to the first 100 attendees only. POANSW is a non for profit that provides support and education to its members via a voluntary committee of property owners, investors and property professionals.
